ALIX D. REYNIS INTERVIEW
L'AIR DU TEMPS, A TIMELESS FRAGRANCE ICON
More than a fragrance, L'Air du Temps is a symbol of freedom, love and hope, destined to transcend the ages. Created in Paris in 1948, and reflecting the optimistic era that followed the war, the scent’s fragrant bouquet is a feminine ode to joy. The first spicy-floral fragrance in perfume history, this timeless Eau de Parfum has become an enduring olfactive icon.
Featuring two doves perched upon its stopper, the bottle embodies a newfound peace and has inspired many artists to revisit its emblematic form. Now, Nina Ricci unveils a new limited edition of its legendary fragrance: a new scent radiating with light in a precious bottle revisited by Alix D. Reynis.

A PORCELAIN-STYLE BOTTLE
Inspired by the porcelain pieces crafted in her Parisian atelier, Alix D. Reynis reinterprets the iconic L’Air du Temps to capture the spirit of the times. The curved lines of the bottle, and the enlaced doves on the stopper, are imbued with a radiant matte-white porcelain-style finish. A constellation of engraved stars creates an artisanal finishing touch, embodying the delicate details of handmade craftsmanship.
The bottle’s design is echoed on the midnight blue outer box, decorated with golden twists, doves and stars, reminiscent of the refined paper used to wrap the creations in Alix D. Reynis’ boutique.
